3045

1996

mixed medium

3045 is the street address of the home I grew up in and in which my parents still live. It is in a suburb of San Francisco. This installation was done in San Francisco at Southern Exposure.

All of the Walls of My Parent's House (Stacked), 1996, wood and drywall, 8'x50'x6'. This piece is to scale.

On the rear wall, All of the Space in My Parent's House (Frost, one inch to one foot scale), 1996, house paint, 50"x60." "Frost" is the Kelly-Moore brand color of the interior walls of the house.

My Sister's Mirror, 1996, was just that -- the full length mirror that hung on the back of Jennifer's door and was a witness to both of our childhoods.

Perimeter (3045), 1995, see Perimeter in the Video section.
